About KDK Cabinet Co.

KDK Cabinet Co. started as a passion project and grew into something much bigger. Founded by Katie Kemen, the company was built on a simple belief: that the process of designing and outfitting a space should feel exciting, not exhausting. Whether the project is a single kitchen remodel or a 100-unit apartment development, that belief drives everything we do.

Based in Monticello, Illinois, we serve clients throughout the Champaign-Urbana area and across Central Illinois. Our showroom sits right on the square in downtown Monticello, where clients can come in, see materials in person, and work through decisions with someone who genuinely knows the product.

How We Work

KDK Cabinet Co. is not a big box store, and we are not a faceless online supplier. We are a small, focused business that takes on projects we can do well and treats every client like the investment they are making matters, because it does.

We work by appointment, which means when you come in, you have our full attention. No waiting around, no being handed off to someone who does not know your project. Just a real conversation about what you need and how we can help get you there.

Our vendor relationships have been built intentionally over time. We carry lines we trust and stand behind, and we are upfront when something is not the right fit. That honesty is something our clients, especially our contractor and developer partners, have come to count on.
